'Jay brave Gurkhali…………'

A dreadful earthquake centered at 'Barpak' in Gorkha District has devastated our country Nepal. This great earthquake mixed our historical monuments, cultural heritages and physical infrastructures in soil. Our dream rushed into vain. The great earthquake of 1934(1990 B.S.) had become the history for us. We used to read in books, old people used to tell about it but this time we ourselves encountered such destructing earthquake. We found listening the story and facing the real happening is completely different.

          During 8 decades after 1934 our nation faced earthquakes with small scales and many other natural disasters like flood, landslides and so on. On those calamities Nepalese army, Nepal police and armed police regularly vested their time and power for rescue operation. Again the bonds of our security group without caring their family are working honestly for providing emergency service after second great earthquake. Providing security for victims, searching for lost people, identification of victims and dead people, effective counseling for homeless people, management of crowd, clearing the tracks, regular food and water supply are the important works that are done by security group of Nepal. We should salute them for their tireless contribution and great deeds. 'Jay brave Gurkhali…………'
